that this year is nearly over!  Seems to have gone by so fast.  I will be glad to see the end of it actually.  Had some bad news a few weeks ago.. my grandpa back home passed away.      Its so hard being all the way over here when everyone is back home.   So we have decided to move back..  already done the paperwork to make my son an Australian Citizen, just waiting on it to be processed and then we will get to work on my hubbys Visa to live in Aus.  So i am hoping to be home withing the next few months!  I cannot wait to be with my family again, i have missed them too much.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, love and blessings for the new year!!

..my slackness knows no bounds!  I havent posted since August!  Its an embarassment!  :|

I do have a small excuse though.. lol  We have been pretty busy around here.  My son has started Kindy.. he seems to enjoy it… now..  he wasnt too happy at first.  He wasnt used to going all day, or being on the bus without a monitor/aide.  I hassled the school though till they put one on there for him, and things have improved.

Also, I am now officially an American Citizen!!   7 years + of hard work finished!!  I am so glad its all over!  I have my lil certificate (with the ugliest picture ever!  lol).  My hubby and son came to the ceremony with me.. it was very long and involved.. much standing and sitting and swearing of oaths.  Of course my camera decided to die right in the middle of it, so we didnt get any pics.  :x    Def time for a new camera.

It was quite funny actually.. after studying for the civics exam, and making myself sick with nervousness over it, i was only in the interview for 10 minutes!!  There is 10 questions for the civics test, but i only had to answer 6 correctly to pass.  The interviewer asked the questions, and he only had to ask 6 as i got them all right!  Very relieved!

We stayed the night where the interview, as it was a 4 hour bus trip and we didnt feel like doing it all in one day.  We went to  a place called the Anchor Bar for dinner.. omg.. best chicken wings i have ever had!!  I would drive all the way back just for the chicken wings!

I am so behind in doing anything with this!   lol   The past month has been crazy though..  Aidyn has finished pre-k, and in September starts Kindergarten!   Plus he had his 5th birthday at the beginning of July.. i cant believe my baby is 5!  Glad he cant read this, as he hates it when i call him a baby!   lol  He’s in Summer school at the moment, just half days, so he is enjoying that, plus it gets him out of my hair for a few hours a day.  ;)

We had his 5th birthday at McDonald’s.. was alot of fun, plus no mess for me to clean up at the end of it!  lol   He invited a couple of his friends from pre-k, and really enjoyed himself.  :)

Am finally applying for my US citizenship.. which means I am one step closer to moving back to Aus!!  I really cannot wait!  Yay!!!!!!!!!!
